Car Charging

Six electric car charging points at Bishops Knoll are now available for use.

These charger have been installed exclusively for Bishops Knoll flat owners, their tenants and guests.

We have installed the infrastructure to increase the number of chargers to ten when demand picks up.

Car Chargers

There are  two charging posts, each with a pair of chargers installed in the car park between Bishops and Orchard Court, a third post is located in the upper car park that is shared with Woodland Court.

The chargers are made by Simpson & Partners and the software that manages them is provided by TAP Electric.

If you or a guest visiting would like to make use of the chargers please contact a director and they will request that you are set up on the TAP system.

The cost of charging at Bishops Knoll will be well below most commercial charger operators and we will seek to keep it as low as possible to encourage the take up of electric vehicles.

How does it work ?

To use the chargers, you need a smart phone, either an iPhone or Android.  The TAP Electric app is available in the both the Apple App Store  and the Google Play Store.

Payment for the electricity consumed is taken by the TAP app on your phone and then Bishops Knoll Management Co is reimbursed for the cost of the electricity consumed by TAP.

You can find more information on TAP here "https://www.tapelectric.app".

Instructions for signing up and use are set out below.
